19 MAY BOUTIQUE GAP TOUR WITH FLIGHT General Information About

                                                   Tour Capacity is Limited to 40 People. 

1. Day: ANTALYA - MARDİN - MİDYAT

We meet at 06:30 in the morning at Antalya International Airport and take the flight departing at 08:05 to Mardin via Sun Express. We meet with our driver and start our tour. We leave the vehicle and start walking tour in Mardin Old City Square. Sometimes we walk through the main streets, sometimes the narrow streets via passages. We’ll see these places accordingly; Virgin Mary Church, Mardin Archeological and Ethnographic Museum, Abdüllatif Mosque, Gazi Pasha Elementary School, PTT building, Zinciriye Madrasa, Şehidiye Mosque, Sabancı Museum on foot. We then take a break for lunch in New Mardin.

Our first stop is Deyrulzaferan Monastery after lunch. We move to Kasımiye Madrasa. We are informed by our guide while we watch Mesopotamia’s view and then we move to Midyat to see the governor’s guest house, which hosted the shootings of many famous TV series in Midyat and is one of the most important examples of civil architecture in the region.

We see The Old Inn and the streets of Midyat and do shopping in Telkarisies Street. After having free time, we move to our hotel for dinner and accommodation.

2. Day: HARRAN-ŞANLIURFA-GÖBEKLİTEPE-ADIYAMAN

After having breakfast at the hotel, we move to Harran, where the world’s first known Islamıc University is located. After we see conical domed Harran houses, located in only 3 regions in the world, ruins of Ulucami, mound, city walls, the castle, traditional Harran houses, we move to Şanlıurfa, the city of prophets.

We visit Şanlıurfa Archeology and Mosaic Museum, Halepli Garden Mosaic Museum, the castle, Gümrük Inn, Halil-ür Rahman Mosque, Aynzeliha Park, Fish Dam, then take a break for shopping.

We move to Göbekli Tepe Mound which is on the list of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. Göbekli Tepe is shown as the biggest archeological discovery of recent years. It’s still being discussed how the hunter and gatherer people built and designed this temple 12.000 years ago. It was built 7.500 years before the Egyptian Pyramids and Stonehenge in England.

After visiting Göbekli Tepe Mound, we head to Adıyaman for dinner and accommodation.

3. Day: MOUNT NEMRUT-ADIYAMAN HALFETİ-GAZİANTEP

We depart from the hotel after having breakfast to see the sunset on Mount Nemrut. We go to the East Terrace first, then move to the West Terrace to see the statues of the Kommagene Kingdom with our tour guide.

We also visit; Arsemia Ancient City, Şeytan Bridge, the Seljuk Bridge, Cendere Bridge from Roman times, Karakuş tumulus and move to Adıyaman to have a break. We then move to Halfeti, which means “Karagül”.

We see Yavuzeli, Nizip, Şanlıurfa lands from one point, King’s Girl Cave, Greek Castle, Barşavma Monastery, and St. Narses Church during our tour. After visiting Savaşan Village, which is partly underwater, by boat, we take our lunch and return to the pier and move to Birecik. First, we see the Milibis Baldibis Conservation Station and get information about this valuable species, which is in danger of extinction.

We move to Gaziantep for dinner and accommodation.

4. Day: GAZİANTEP-HATAY

We get on our vehicle to move to Gaziantep after having breakfast at the hotel. This city received the title of “Gazi” in 1927 with its glorious resistance.

Gaziantep city tour will start visiting one of most rich in mosaic museums, Zeugma Mosaic Museum. We’ll trace many mythological in the rich mosaic collection unearthed in the last 15 years from Zeugma, the most important city in the East of the Roman Empire. There are also many archeological pieces are being exhibited in the museum. We will have free time for shopping in Gaziantep bazaars after the museum.

Later on, we move to Hatay to see the first illuminated street in the World Kurtuluş Street which is 1478 m long. Then we’ll visit Habib-i Neccar Mosque which was the first mosque built in Anatolia and dedicated to a person who believes Jesus. We will take a walk towards the Long Bazaar and see Antakya Catholic Church, Antakya Jewish Synagogue in order.

One of the biggest bazaars of our country, The Long Bazaar is 3500 m long and allows you to shop with joy and find anything you need. We visit Harbiye Waterfall after the Long bazaar and move to Hatay Airport to take the flight to Antalya at 18:55 via Sun Express.
